Allergy Education
The Classical Allergy Diseases:
a) Hay fever (Allergic Rhinitis) – ex. pollen
b) Perennial Allergic Rhinitis – nasal allergy to a year round allergen such as house-dust-mite.
c) Asthma – bronchial, involves an allergic reaction.
d) Atopic eczema -
e) Urticaria – allergic reaction with accompanying swelling, oedema, red skin patches and occasionally itchy.
f) Anaphylasis – a violent allergic reaction which can affect breathing, swelling of face and sometime life-threatening if not treated immediately.
g) Food Allergy – reaction to certain foods causing multiple symptoms (abdominal bloatedness, abdominal pain/cramps, constipation, diarrhea, generalized tiredness, joint and muscle pain)
